Duties
To provide leadership that advances student achievement, managing all aspects of special education and 504 Plan programs and services for students with disabilities, and ensuring that all students with special needs receive a free and appropriate education.
Qualifications
An Illinois Type 75 Administrative Certificate and State Board confirmation to serve as the State Approved Director of Special Education. A minimum of five years of experience in public education, part of which must have been in school AP or principal; teaching or supervising in the field of Special Education.
Salary/Benefits
Minimum starting salary $120,000, will be commensurate with experience; benefits as established annually by D91
