Duties

To carry out the teaching responsibilities as described in the School Code of Illinois, Rockton School District policies and as directed by the administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university and a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License with proper endorsement for Elementary Education (Self Contained General Education) for Grade 3.

Salary/Benefits

• Salary and benefits are based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary range for this position is between $41,826.22 and $92,435.96, based on experience and education. 
• Employer paid premiums for individual medical, dental and basic life insurance. 
• Employee paid voluntary benefits are also available: supplemental life insurance, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, group whole life w/long-term care, health savings account and flexible spending accounts. 
• Paid sick and personal days granted each year. 
• TRS Pension eligible position.
• TRS SSP eligibility.
• 403b availability.
