Elementary Art Teacher (K-5)  Oakbrook School/Westview School

Wood Dale School District 7 is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Elementary Art Teacher to inspire students and foster a love of the visual arts. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction that encourages creativity, artistic expression, and appreciation for diverse artistic traditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver standards-based art instruction for elementary students.
• Teach foundational art concepts, techniques, and media.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on artistic growth.
• Organize and display student artwork and support school art events.
• Collaborate with staff and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license with Art endorsement.

Salary:  Pay from $52,300 per year depending on experience
