4th Grade Dual Language Teacher (50/50 Model)
Wood Dale School District 7 is seeking a dedicated 4th-grade dual-language teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a 50/50 dual-language classroom. The teacher will support students in developing bilingualism, biliteracy, and strong academic skills in both English and Spanish while fostering a culturally responsive learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in English and Spanish aligned with the district curriculum.
- Implement the district's 50/50 dual language model to support biliteracy and academic achievement.
- Use data and assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with grade-level and bilingual staff to support student success
- Communicate effectively with families in English and Spanish.
