Duties

1. ???Performs and provides maintenance services as directed by the Facilities Manager.   

1. ?Assists in overseeing and implementing the integrated pest management plan. 

1. ?Helps with snow removal and salting as directed by Administration. 

1. ?Ensures the safety and security of buildings and grounds. 

1. ?Maintains the cleanliness and organization of District areas as designated by Administration. 

1. ?Operates building automation systems as directed by Administration.   

1. ?Completes work orders as assigned in a timely manner.   

1. ?Demonstrates initiative and proactive orientation to recognizing and resolving issues, concerns, or problems. 

1. ?Sets high standards of performance for self.  

1. ?Performs duties to ensure designated school facilities are suitable for safe operations and maintained in an attractive and clean condition. 

1. ?Assists with preventative maintenance on roofs, HVAC, plumbing and other building equipment. 

1. ?Performs duties to handle and assist with appropriate facility setup and arrangement for various activities (special events, athletic events, board meetings, etc.). 

1. ?Assists in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and Health Department standards. 

1. ?Assists with documenting and reporting concerns to Administration about services provided to the District. 

1. ?Supports the district’s vision and mission. 

1. ?Represents the district as directed by the Facilities Manager. 

1. ?Performs other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position. 

1. ?Completes required reports and maintains records. 

1. ?Provides regular updates to the Facilities Manager. 

1. ?Makes recommendations regarding services to the District. 

1. ?Makes recommendations regarding district equipment. 

1. ?Responds immediately to emergency situations. 

1. ?Additional duties as may be assigned by the Facilities Manager or District Administration.?? 

Qualifications

1. ?Good physical health and clean background check 

1. ?High School diploma or equivalent 

1. ?Must possess a valid driver’s license 

1. ?Experience in building maintenance and repair involving boilers, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and custodial operations strongly desired 

1. ?Ability to read basic instructions and write reports 

1. ?Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions 

1. ?Ability to communicate written and orally in English 

1. ?Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to staff 

1. ?Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks 

1. ?Knowledge of HVAC computer systems
