Duties
This individual will support classroom teachers by providing individualized instruction, implementing behavior plans, supervising students, and assisting with daily classroom management.Implementing academic lessons and reinforcing skills in reading, math, and other subjects as directed.
- Providing one-on-one tutoring or working with small groups to support learning.

Assisting students with assignments and special projects.

Adapting materials to meet individual student needs

Implementing behavioral intervention plans and supporting students with emotional needs.

Promoting positive peer interactions and inclusion.

Ensuring the safety of students in the classroom, on the playground, or on school buses.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent. A paraprofessional license is required. Paraprofessional licenses are valid for 5 years, and may be renewed with the payment of registration fees.
