District Overview:

La Moille CUSD 303 is a proud, rural K-12 district located in the Starved Rock Region. With a total enrollment of approximately 165 students, we offer the small-school feel where every student is known by name. We are currently seeking a visionary leader for our Jr./Sr. High School (68 students) who is passionate about rural education and student-centered leadership.

The successful candidate will serve as the Principal for Grades 7-12 for the 2026-27 school year.

Strategic Transition & Future Outlook: La Moille CUSD 303 is currently engaged in a strategic planning process regarding district right-sizing. This includes the potential deactivation of the High School at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 school year. Should the district transition to a PreK-8 model for the 2027-2028 school year, there is a potential opportunity for the successful candidate to transition into a PreK-8 Building Principal role or other administrative role within the district.

Note: Any future transition or contract extension is contingent upon district needs, Board of Education approval, and the candidate’s performance and licensure.

Contact Superintendent Mr. Tom Jeppson at (815) 490-7086 with any questions.
