Duties
Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic, personal, social,
and emotional growth.
• Assist students with course selection, college applications, and career planning.
• Create a course schedule and schedule students for classes within FACTS software.
• Support students in personal development, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate standardized testing and interpret results for students, parents, and faculty.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and
promote a positive school environment.
• Provide resources and referrals for students experiencing personal or family challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Facilitate programs on topics such as study skills, stress management, and post-secondary
planning.
• Support the school’s Catholic mission through participation in faith-based activities and
ethical guidance.
• Assist with crisis intervention and provide immediate support when needed
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a school counseling role preferred.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and educational guidance.
• Commitment to the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Familiarity with college admissions processes and scholarship opportunities
Salary/Benefits
Salary Range: $37,571 - $49,531 (Based on years of service and level of education)
