Duties
THE ROLE
O'Fallon Township High School District #203 is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Essential Study Skills / Academic Assistance Center (ESS/AAC) Instructor for the 2026/2027 school year. In this role, you will provide additional academic support to students across subject areas, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their coursework. The ESS/AAC program serves students at both campuses, offering a structured environment where students can get the assistance they need to grow as learners. You will report to the Principal.
JOB GOALS
- Promotes student collaboration in instruction that builds on students' strengths.
- Structures lesson and unit plans to ensure a cohesive flow to support student learning and development.
- Designs and implements learning experiences that respect and build upon students' identities, lived experiences, and current knowledge and skills to promote meaningful engagement and academic growth.
Salary/Benefits
Compensation for ESS/AAC Instructor positions is based on Appendix "A" of the Agreement between the Board of Education, O'Fallon Township High School District No. 203 and the O'Fallon Federation of Teachers, O'Fallon, Illinois 62269 (Collective Bargaining Agreement). This position is eligible for health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid time off, and tuition assistance. This position participates in the Teachers Retirement System (TRS).
