Qualifications

• Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a music/band endorsement for grades K-12
• Ability to tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities, ensuring all students have opportunities for creative expression;
• Ability to foster a love for music;
• Foundational knowledge of Google Classroom applications and the ability to incorporate technology as a means of enhancing instruction. ;
• Individual must be flexible, creative and student centered; Ability to assess the learning of students and modify or enhance instruction as needed; Able to work with a diverse student population and establish open and regular communication with parents and guardians.

Salary/Benefits

Starting salary of $43,000 with B.A. and no experience or steps on the salary schedule
