Duties

To carry out the responsibilities as described in the School Code of Illinois, Rockton School District policies and as directed by the administration.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university and Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a proper endorsement for Special Education.

Salary/Benefits

• Salary range for this position is between $41, 826.22 and $92,435.96, based on experience and education as noted in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• 180-day contract
• Employer paid premiums for individual medical, dental and basic life insurance 
• Employee paid voluntary benefits are also available: supplemental life insurance, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, group whole life w/long-term care, health savings account and flexible spending account 
• Paid sick and personal days granted each year
• TRS pension eligible position
