Duties
Henry-Senachwine High School has an opening for a highly qualified Social Science Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Classes may include World History, Psychology, Sociology, and Geography.
Qualifications
The selected candidate must possess a high moral and ethical character, be a team player, and a student advocate. The selected candidate must have a desire to make a difference, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement, and demonstrate a positive, growth oriented mindset. The selected candidate candidate must hold a Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with secondary endorsements in Social Science.
Salary/Benefits
We pay a competitive compensation based on education and experience, as negotiated by the collective bargaining agreement.

Henry-Senachwine High School serves approximately 150 students and sustains a professional staff of 22. The culture of the school promotes collegiality, collaboration and progressive thought.
