Duties
St. Mary School, Mount Vernon is now accepting applications for a middle school math/science teacher opening for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate will be responsible for 6th grade homeroom, and teaching math/science in grades 6-8.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have an Illinois teacher certification in math/science and have experience with technology and curriculum. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to work with other faculty members and will be a dynamic individual who can inspire the diverse Saint Mary students they instruct.
Salary/Benefits
Teachers will be placed on the Diocesian Teacher Salary scale of $30,807 - $54,459 according to years of experience and education. Employees will also have the option of health benefits and the opportunity to participate in the 403b retirement program.
