Duties
Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Belleville, IL is now accepting applications for
an energetic and dedicated Middle School Reading Teacher for the 2026-2027
school year.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a current Illinois teaching license
(though not required). The ideal candidate would have experience teaching
Reading within a middle school/grades 5-8 classroom, creating a positive
classroom environment with strong classroom management skills, and
communicating with parents and teachers.
Salary/Benefits
Salary Range: This position is a full-time, nine month contract with competitive
benefits (https://www.diobelle.org/temporal-affairs/humanresources/employment-opportunities ) and a beginning salary range of $29,000 -
$48,000. This is a minimum range, and the final offer will be
determined on experience, education, and other qualifications
Additional Notes
The candidate should be prepared to be in compliance with Diocesan Child
Protection Procedures. Employment is contingent on the successful completion of
a background check.
