Duties
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students, including students in newly established self-contained structured classrooms. The SLP supports students with a wide range of communication needs, including those requiring AAC systems and core board implementation. This position requires strong collaboration, leadership, and training skills to support students, staff and families.
Qualifications
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement(s) for PreK-8 minimum.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits are determined per the BVEA collective bargaining agreement.
Additional Notes
The district also offers prior years of service on the salary schedule, a tuition waiver for out-of-district children of staff members, reimbursement for college coursework, and opportunities to earn early tenure.
