Duties
The Wellness Counselor will provide comprehensive trauma-informed services to Pre-K through 12th grade students, parents and adults. The Wellness Counselor will support students and adults in achieving success academically, socially and emotionally. Additional responsibilities outlined in a separate job description.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or higher in education, psychology, counseling,
social work or a related field is required.
Salary/Benefits
As per the negotiated salary schedule.
Additional Notes
Specifics of the position are:
- 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Work days will follow the school calendar
- Expect adjusted hours and travel as needed
- Salary is based on education level and years of experience
(Expected starting salary approximately $42,848)
- Possess valid Illinois licensure
- Must be able to successfully complete a Criminal Background Check.
