Duties
1. Evaluation of certified and non-certified staff.
2. Leader of House personnel and the PLC process within the House.
3. Monitor student attendance and regulations pertaining to truancy.
4. Monitor and enforce student behavior expectations within the student Rights and Responsibilities.
5. Maintain consistency when dealing with student behavior incidents in violation of the student Rights and Responsibilities.
6. Assist the efforts of teachers in maintaining student conduct consistent with the student Rights and Responsibilities.
7. Actively participate in District and Building Leadership Team meetings.
8. To establish effective communication with students, teachers, parents and administrators regarding student discipline interventions and attendance.
9. Work collaboratively with and supervise security personnel.
10. Participation in the planning and implementation of the school crisis plan.
11. Work cooperatively or consult with local community agencies such as police, fire, health and family services, juvenile court, etc. in appropriate situations.
12. To supervise extra-curricular activities as assigned.
13. To perform other activities as assigned by the Assistant Principal or Principal.
14. Oversee implementation and compliance of Section 504 Plans.
Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR LICENSE WITH ADMINISTRATIVE ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in student discipline/attendance; Experience in data analysis and problem solving; Strong organizational skills; Experience in creating and implementing section 504 plans; Strong collaborator and team leader.
Salary/Benefits
Hiring range: $82,000- $97,304
Salary range: $82,000- $104,956
