Duties
Trico High School is seeking a qualified and motivated teacher to instruct courses in either Industrial Arts or Agriculture Education. The teaching assignment may include classes such as Welding, Into to Ind. Arts/Ag and Construction. Exact course assignments will be determined based on the successful candidate's licensure, experience and current school needs. This position offers an opportunity to work with hands-on, career-focused programs that prepare students for post secondary education, skilled trades and the workforce.
Qualifications
Valid IL PEL. Proper endorsement in Industrial Art or Ag Education. Ability to pass a criminal background check, strong classroom management and instructional skills, commitment to student learning and career readiness.
Salary/Benefits
Salary is determined by the collective bargaining agreement, 100% board paid individual health insurance, partial premium paid for spouse/dependents, $10,000 Life Insurance policy, 15 sick days, 2 personal days and 3 bereavement days per year.
