Duties
Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate special education teacher for students with identified special education needs. The teacher will provide direct instruction for K-2 students with diverse needs, within a special education classroom.
Candidates must be knowledgeable, flexible, and student-centered. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to developing relationships, creating welcoming teaching and learning spaces, and striving for excellence through seeking continuous improvement. Experience with autism and related disorders is preferred.
Qualifications
The qualified individual must hold an IL Professional Educator License with a LBS1 approval/endorsement.
