Duties

We are seeking a Junior High Writing Teacher who will work in close partnership with the Junior High Reading Teacher to deliver a strong, cohesive ELA block experience for students.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Design and deliver student-centered instruction grounded in best practices

Collaborate closely with colleagues, particularly within the ELA and junior high teams

Maintain consistent, supportive, and proactive communication with families

Use student data to inform instruction and guide decision-making

Implement proactive, positive classroom management strategies

Integrate technology in purposeful, age-appropriate ways to enhance learning

Actively contribute to and engage with the broader school community
Qualifications
Must hold a current, valid teaching license in the state of Illinois.
Salary/Benefits
