Duties
Applicant would be teaching in a residential facility setting. All students have special education primary disability. Some also have learning disabilities, speech etc. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering Illinois- Standard based instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and the abilities of students with disabilities; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and employing effective instructional and classroom management techniques. Duties also include IEP development and case management, data collection, differentiation and interventions for academic and social emotional needs, daily data tracking, reports for occasional cottage staffing's and behavior observation forms for psychiatric consultations.
Qualifications
LBS I Licensure for special education with the ISBE Pre-K to age 21
