Duties
Multiple openings available. Assignment may include self-contained or co-taught instruction, case manager to students with diverse educational needs, IEP responsibilities.
Qualifications
LBS 1- Endorsement is required on an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Must be patient, able to motivate students, understanding of their students' special needs, and accepting of differences in others.
- Must be creative and apply different types of teaching methods to reach students who are having difficulty learning.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
- Able to demonstrate positive leadership skills.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS 1 Endorsement
Salary/Benefits
Salary and Benefits are based on the negotiated salary agreement, plus extra-duty stipends may be available. 2025-2026 salary range began at $42,100.00.
