Duties
The Senior Manager of Data Operations is primarily responsible for supporting and optimizing the District’s data systems across departments by ensuring data integrity, streamlining processes, and providing staff with the tools and training needed to leverage technology effectively while ensuring interoperability and efficiency across all platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a directly related field.
Minimum of three years’ experience managing enterprise-level database or information systems, experience in an educational setting preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of information systems including, but not limited to, student information systems, transportation routing systems, assessment databases, employee information systems, financial software, and other third-party data platforms.
Demonstrated proficiency with database administration, configuration, optimization, custom queries, database language (SQL), and troubleshooting complex issues Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and cross-system data synchronization.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
Strong customer service and communication skills during phone, email, and in person interactions.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage projects independently, and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
