Duties
The Early Childhood Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Spectrum Early Childhood program within the Cooperative. The program is located within three districts, Thomasboro Grade School, St. Joseph Elementary and Unity East Elementary. The position requires regular travel between the locations.
The Program Coordinator will monitor program spending, ensure classrooms are adhering to the Creative Curriculum requirements along with meeting grant expectations. The individual will supervise and evaluate Early Childhood staff and provide quality professional development. This role will organize and facilitate early childhood screenings, coordinate meetings and collaborate with early intervention to facilitate the transition process. The Program Coordinator will serve as the Local Education Agency (LEA) during all IEP meetings and will assist with IEP development and compliance. Additional responsibilities include coordinating staffing needs, including substitute coverage and providing classroom support.
Qualifications
LBS I or related licensure
Early Childhood Experience
Administrative licensure Preferred
Salary/Benefits
Minimum $65,000
Salary negotiable based on experience
