Duties

Mahomet-Seymour CUSD #3 is seeking a dedicated Junior High Mathematics Teacher to provide engaging instruction that supports student growth in mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will create a supportive learning environment and work collaboratively to meet the academic and developmental needs of all learners.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate mathematics endorsement
• Knowledge of best practices in middle school mathematics instruction
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Salary/Benefits

Please see attached current 2025-2026 Salary Schedule (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year).
