Duties

We are looking for an Art Teacher to teach middle school students (grade 6-8). This teacher will help students explore different art techniques and express themselves through visual arts.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes using a variety of materials and techniques
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Display student artwork and help with school art events
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff
• Communicate with families about student progress
• Keep art supplies organized and manage classroom space

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art or Education
• Valid teaching license with Art endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with middle school students preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for helping students grow creatively
