Duties

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Title I teacher to provide targeted interventions to support elementary students. The ideal candidate will deliver small-group instruction, use data to guide intervention plans, collaborate with classroom teachers, and help close learning gaps in math and reading achievement. Strong communication skills, effective instructional strategies, thorough knowledge of RTI, ability to work effectively as a member of a team, and a passion for helping all students succeed are essential. Experience with progress monitoring and evidence-based math and reading interventions is a necessity.

Qualifications

• PEL endorsed for Reading Specialist or Reading Teacher, required.
• Masters Degree in Reading Literacy, preferred
• Good interpersonal skills, collaborative, ability to maintain confidentiality, high expectations for k-5 students, experience working with young children preferred. 
• Data analysis skills a plus. 
• Experience with spreadsheets and data entry a plus.
• Passion for Working with Primary Grade Students. 
• Desire to Work with Highly Collaborative Team
• Insistent upon High Standards and High Expectations

Salary/Benefits

District pays full single rate for medical insurance. Salary includes TRS paid on employees behalf, amount included in salary. 

Salary range based on Collective Bargaining Agreement: Bachelor's no experience $45,465 to Master +32 and 25 years $65,896.
