Duties
Jersey Community Unit District No. 100 is in search of a caring, professional educator who is not only qualified but extremely excited to instruct students in the areas of mathematics. Working collaboratively within professional learning communities to build curricula and establish common assessments is required. Additionally, having knowledge of data-driven, research based pedagogical approaches to instructing and learning is strongly desired.
Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RtI), new Illinois learning standards, technology integration and methods of differentiation are necessary. Previous experience is preferred but would strongly consider a candidate with the necessary credentials without experience who is highly motivated, exceptional in disposition (caring, compassionate, patient, etc.), and extremely dedicated to the academic and social growth of all students.
Qualifications
The professional educator MUST possess a proper Illinois Professional Educator License with a Middle School Math endorsement. Secondary Math endorsement preferred.

Additional Notes
This position is at Jersey Community High School. We house students in 8-12th grade. This position will likely teach some 8th grade students and could adapt to the candidates strengths.
