Duties
The Special Education and Early Childhood Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of special education and early learning services at the building level while supporting district-wide initiatives. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports high quality instruction and programming, facilitates collaboration among staff and families, and oversees special education, early learning, outplacement, and extended school year (ESY) services.
Qualifications
Master’s degree preferably in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with General Administrative Endorsement
Early Learning Endorsement preferred.
Two years’ administrative experience preferred.
Evidence of some Special Education teaching/leadership background.
Valid Driver’s License.
