Duties
The Assistant Principal/Activities Director is responsible for assisting the Principal with leadership, direction, supervision, operations and accountability. Primary focus will be on attendance, discipline, supervision, safety and well being of students. Other duties include the recruiting, hiring, supervision, and evaluation of faculty and staff as well as the management and coordination of school and IHSA activities. The Assistant Principal/Activities Director will also complete other tasks as assigned by the Principal and the Superintendent.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Illinois General Administrative or Principal Professional Educator License • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication • Demonstrated excellence as an educational leader with strong organizational, problem-solving and human relations skills • Residency within the district is required.
Salary/Benefits
This is a 10-month position. *Employee benefits include full board-paid individual health insurance, life insurance, TRS contributions, sick days, and personal days.
Additional Notes
This position will begin the 2026-2027 school year.
