Duties

• Responsible for contacting students and families by phone and home visits.
• Monitor occurrences of absenteeism, unexcused absences, and excessive tardiness.
• Gather and assess attendance data for the district.
• Prepares monthly reports of the Truancy Program for the Assistant Superintendent.
• Locates truant students, and patrols schools, parks, and streets to maintain attendance and safety.
• Reports to law enforcement agencies any acts that contribute to truancy, delinquency, or injury of students.
• Verifies parents and student residency.
• Writes and submits case reports on investigative findings of students.
• Attends district and school safety meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate Degree required/Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary/Benefits

$52,00 - $55,000
