Maintenance Mechanic 3 APPLY ONLINE Share: Print: Duties Yard work and/or ground maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, clearing snow, raking leaves, and trash removal Assemble, move, or arrange furniture and equipment as needed Assist in unloading and delivering packages, equipment, and supplies Assist Maintenance Mechanic I and II on special projects Perform daily custodial duties including mopping, floor care, waxing, use of buffers and scrubbers, and restocking supplies Special duties-painting, drywall, minor plumbing or electrical repairs Qualifications Must pass a background check High School Diploma or GED Previous General Maintenance and custodial experience preferred. An educational degree is NOT required. Salary/Benefits The salary range for this position is $40,560 - $44,720 based on relevant work experience Additional Notes Benefits include: School-paid $25,000 life insurance policy Paid time off - 12 sick days and 3 personal days per school year Employees are paid semi-monthly throughout the entire year Contribute to Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Option to participate in health, dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, critical care, and disability insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts or healthcare spending accounts.
