Duties

As a substitute teacher, you will:

• Deliver lesson plans and instructions left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Adapt to various subjects and grade levels with ease.
• Engage with students to inspire and motivate their learning.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License, Substitute Teaching License, or  Short-Term Substitute License
• Experience and/or training with middle school students is encouraged
• We welcome applicants with a good understanding of teaching methods, school subjects, state education goals, and using different types of media.

Salary/Benefits

• $150/day
• $100 bonus paid to subs hired for the 24-25 school year after THREE (3) days of completed sub service
• Each new sub gets One (1) paid shadow day at $100 to be completed very soon after paperwork completed.
