Duties
1st Grade Position for the beginning of 26-27 school year

Supervise students during arrival and dismissal

Take daily attendance and lunch count
-
Implement and follow the district’s ELA and math curriculum
- Other duties as assigned
-
Provide small group and differentiated instruction based on student needs
-
Collaborate with grade-level team on lesson planning and assessments
-
Maintain communication with parents via newsletters, notes, or phone calls
-
Monitor student progress and document data for RTI/MTSS
-
Prepare and maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment
-
Teach and reinforce classroom rules and positive behavior expectations
-
Supervise students during recess and lunch (as assigned)
-
Attend grade-level, staff, and professional development meetings
-
Administer and analyze assessments (district, benchmark, and classroom)
-
Support school events, assemblies, and special activities
-
Maintain confidentiality of student information
-
Collaborate with support staff (reading specialist, interventionist, special education, etc.)
-
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and report card preparation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and appropriate certification required
Salary/Benefits
As per the teacher salary schedule and contract
