Duties

Central CUSD #3 is seeking a permanent, part-time 7th Grade Math Teacher for mornings only (½ day). This position is ideal for an experienced or retired teacher who wishes to continue working with students in a flexible, reduced schedule. The teacher will deliver core math instruction to 7th grade students, focusing on building strong foundations in pre-algebra, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning.

• Schedule: Mornings only (½ day)

• Permanent, part-time position beginning August 2026

• Hours can be structured to fit TRS (retired teacher) guidelines

• Supportive junior high team and collaborative environment

Qualifications

•  Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with middle grades mathematics endorsement (or ability to obtain)

• Strong instructional and classroom management skills

• Commitment to student growth and collaboration with colleagues
