Duties
Responsible for classroom instructional activities and implementation of IEP's the Livingston County specialized school programs. Ability to modify assignments and curriculum based on needs of the students.
Qualifications
Appropriate teacher LBS I license/certification and experience with students with communication,social emotional and learning challenges. Ability to build relationships with students and work collaboratively with a variety of staff working within the program.
Salary/Benefits
Salary range of $43,750-$75,000 depending on experience and education. The full TRS payment is paid by the district. Other benefits include 12 sick days and 2 personal days. Up to $7,000 is made available to you toward your health insurance. Other provisions of the Agreement between the Executive Board of Livingston County Special Services Unit and the Livingston County Special Services Unit Professional Employees Association IEA/NEA contract will be in place for the duration of employment.
Additional Notes
Will also consider a certified teacher in the process of securing special education endorsements.
