Join Our Team as a Bus Monitor at Ball-Chatham School District!
Ball-Chatham School District is seeking multiple Bus Monitors for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are passionate about supporting students and ensuring a safe, efficient environment on the school bus, we want to hear from you!
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively with students
- Ability to apply common sense understanding in carrying out instructions
- Ability to exercise appropriate disciplinary techniques
- Ability to be trained in and apply behavior modification techniques
- Ability to work as part of a team and serve as a role model for students
- Regularly required to talk, hear, walk, sit, and use hands
- Frequently required to assist physically challenged students
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal and DCFS background check
