Duties

To assist students with personal, social, and academic development. To help students set realistic short and long term goals and to help students achieve a positive self-concept and build relationships. 

Qualifications

• Appropriate Illinois Professional Educators License
• Master’s Degree in School Counseling
• As per the Agreement Between MCUSD #185 & MEA, IEA/NEA 2024-2028
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary/Benefits

Range of $42,850.82 to $83,122.54 with TRS based on the 2026-2027 salary schedule.
