Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing student academic needs within the English department at Mount Carmel High School. Communication with parent/guardians, students, and other staff will be required. The successful candidate will be under the supervision of the department head and building level administrators and must be able to perform requested tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Current and Proper Illinois Certification
  • Flexibility and willingness to be a team player
  • Outstanding teaching characteristics as well as personal qualities
  • Experience with the use of technological resources
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage time and keep students engaged
