7th Grade Middle School Science Teacher

Duties

Description:  Science Teacher in a 600 student middle school. (Grade 7)

Applicant must be willing to:

  • Work cooperatively with a team of grade level teachers to plan and provide a variety of activities for middle school students.
  • Accommodate students with a variety of skills, abilities, and challenges.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents.
  • Contribute to and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
  • Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.
  • Sponsor extra-curricular activities, clubs, or athletics.

Qualifications

Appropriate certification and evidence of successful work with middle school age students.

Salary/Benefits

Based on HEA contract.
