Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing student needs in the areas of academics, physical, social and emotional success, as well as addressing goals and objectives in their IEP. Candidates must be able to work with all ability levels and exceptionalities.  Excellent communication skills with parents/guardians, students, and other staff will be required.  The successful candidate will be under the supervision of the building administrator and Special Education Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Current and Proper Illinois Certification
• Flexibility and willingness to be a team player, working with the other special education teachers as well as the entire school staff
• Outstanding teaching characteristics as well as personal qualities
• Experience with the use of technological resources
• Willingness to accept other duties as assigned in an effort to provide a comprehensive school program
