Duties

Position Summary: The Director of Finance and Operations/Chief School Business Official serves as the senior leader responsible for the fiscal integrity, business services, and operational systems of the Joint Agreement. This role ensures effective stewardship of fiscal resources, alignment of resources to priorities, and full compliance with state, local, and federal requirements.

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

Qualifications

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters Degree in Education, Business Management or
• Illinois Professional Educator License with Chief School Business Official endorsement.
• Experience in public sector or school finance.
• Minimum of five (5) years successful administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of governmental accounting and internal controls.
• Knowledge and experience with grants, budget development and
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational

Salary/Benefits

Salary as Negotiated by the Board of Directors with Board paid TRS; Salary Range begins at $110,000

20 vacation days, 13 sick days, 3 personal days and 3 bereavement days; Board makes a significant contribution to Medical Insurance

Additional Notes

This position will begin no later than July 1, 2026.  It is preferred that the finalist be able to transition into the position prior to July 1, 2026.
