Duties
Primary Function: Responsible for increasing student achievement as defined by the IEP. Main functions include but are not limited to:
- Assisting students with developing thinking skills and content knowledge
- Providing accommodations and modifications as needed
- Working with general education teachers to plan and implement standards-based instruction
- Establishing a positive classroom environment and culture for learning
- Analyzing data and action planning
- Providing reports for and attending IEP meetings
- Providing data and reports that are evidence of student progress
- Consistently communicating with stakeholders
Accountability: Reports to Building Level Administrators & District Level Administrators
