Duties

The Special Education Coordinator will oversee, plan, and direct all Individual Education Plan meetings as the District LEA. The goal of the Special Education Coordinator is to ensure students with disabilities are provided with appropriate instruction and support in order to promote their educational well-being in compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Qualifications

• ISBE General Administrative or Principal license preferred
• An earned Master’s Degree
• Special Education teaching certificate (LBS1)
• At least 8 years teaching experience in special education

Salary/Benefits

Commensurate with experience and qualifications with salary range starting at $76,000, not including benefits.
