Duties
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of School/Principal to lead ExcelPrep. The ideal candidate will embody our mission and values, providing strategic leadership to enhance our programs and create a nurturing, academically focused environment for neurodiverse students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Vision
- Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the school
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in instructional methodologies
- Program Development
- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of academic and clinical programs
- Ensure alignment with best practices in education and behavioral science
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of educators and therapists
- Promote professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment
- Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders
- Advocate for neurodiverse learners within the community and educational systems
- Administration & Compliance
- Manage school operations, budgets, and regulatory compliance
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes
Salary/Benefits
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- Values parent communication
- Computer savvy - comfortable with google, with learning technologies,
- Creative and flexible - open to learning how to teach students with learning differences
- Can develop, instruct, and model instructional best practices within student plans
- Understands the importance of ongoing data collection and analysis
- Collaborative in communication, planning, and writing

This role is for someone who has a command of written language and verbal language. This role is for someone who understands that formal communication requires a presence and will present ExcelPrep auditorily, visually, and nonverbally professionally well and consistently to parents and stakeholders. Behavior expectations for staff at ExcelPrep are integral to expectations, daily execution, and fulfillment. This is important in supporting Communication, Participation, Responsiveness, and Decision Making needed and cultivate leadership at every level. Within CPR+D, each individual staff person is expected to operate within their scope of licensure and practice and continuously foster a workplace culture connected to the mission and organization success.
