Duties

The Cissna Park CUSD 6 Board of Education is currently accepting applications for one special education paraprofessionals in the 6-12 school for the '26-'27 school year. The employed individual will serve as a teachers aide within a 6-12 classroom and will assist the general education and special education teachers in providing support services to students.

Salary/Benefits

The starting pay for the employed individual will be $16/hour and has the potential to increase with experience. The work day begins at 7:45 am and ends at 3:15 pm.  The district pays the full employee's contribution into the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) equaling 4.55% and the full individual health benefit currently equaling $906 per month through the Illinois Educators Risk Management Program (IERMP).  The current carrier is Blue Cross Blue Shield.
