Duties
Martinsville High School seeks a dedicated and experienced basketball coach to lead and develop a competitive, student-centered basketball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sport, a commitment to fostering a positive team culture, and a dedication to supporting student-athletes' academic and athletic growth.
Qualifications
Previous Head Coaching Experience Preferred. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will provide effective instruction and program management, demonstrate leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will supervise and oversee the boys participating in the boys basketball program. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will demonstrate a high degree of ethics, professionalism, and be a positive role model for all Martinsville student-athletes.
Salary/Benefits
Martinsville High School is seeking a Head Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 school year. The district currently has two teaching positions available. Jr/Sr. Highschool Social Studies and JH/HS PE. Salary Based on Current Collective Bargaining Agreement
