Position Description: Director, Phoenix Academy

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in special education or related field
• Must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Administrative endorsement (Principal or General Administrator) and the endorsement as a Learning Behavioral Specialist (LBSI), School Social Worker, or School Psychologist. In addition, it is preferred that the individual has the Director of Special Education endorsement.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Illinois Professional Education License holder (classroom or school service personnel).
• Completion of Illinois Performance Evaluation - Teacher Evaluation Training or will be required to complete upon hire.
