Duties
- Facilitate student learning through lesson planning and quality instruction.
- Recommend to the Principal or designee supplies and materials needed for the class.
- Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Assess student work and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents/guardians that will be conducive to learning.
- Maintain and update accurate records as required by the State, District, and Building Administration.
- Attend required meetings and events.
- Stay current with developments in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Coach or sponsor an extracurricular activity-preferred but not required. (Compensation-RBEA Collective Bargaining Agreement)
- Exhibit excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Incorporate the Six Pillars of Character Counts: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.
Perform other duties as assigned
