Duties

1. Knowledgeable in duties, responsibilities, and safety for coaching, and promoting competitive varsity softball program. 
2. Facilitating off-season workouts in conjunction with head coach, and athletic department.
3. Good communicator with various stakeholders at our school including fellow coaches, administration, athletic director, teachers, students and parents.
4. Work with head coaches to organize camps for the lower grade levels to build a program.
5. Knowledge of the IHSA rules and regulations governing a competitive program.
6. Assisting with student-centered, integrity based positive environment, enabling athletes the opportunity to excel academically and athletically.
7. Actively work toward positive partnerships with other district extracurricular coaches and programs. 

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with students, administration and parents
• Strong organizational skills desired
• Previous experience coaching softball 

Salary/Benefits

Stipend in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
